BETBY to debut SlotBets Games at SBC Summit Lisbon 2026

The sportsbook supplier will host a press conference and live demonstration for its new slot-style sports betting product.

CH

LISBON — BETBY will place its new SlotBets Games category at the centre of its presence at the SBC Summit in Lisbon from September 29 to October 1, 2026.

The Tier 1 B2B sportsbook supplier will host a dedicated press conference and live demonstration of the BETBY SlotBets product.

"SlotBets came from a very clear industry problem," said Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Innovation and R&D at BETBY.

"Sportsbook and casino often sit next to each other, but the player experience between the two is still very different. We wanted to create something that feels immediately familiar to a casino player while remaining genuinely powered by live sport."

The new content category is designed to "slotify" sports betting by transforming real-time sporting action into fast-paced, slot-style gameplay.

In its first application, SlotBasketball, each 15-second betting round is divided into three five-second windows, with the highest-value event in each period determining one reel.

The final combination is created by the match itself rather than a random number generator, combining live sport with casino mechanics like reels and multipliers.

Press conference and innovation hub

The SlotBets press conference will be held in Auditorium III and led by Chris Nikolopoulos, BETBY's Chief Commercial Officer.

He will introduce the commercial vision and conduct a live demonstration, with special guests from BETBY's partner network also sharing perspectives.

The company's stand, C206, will be transformed into a dedicated innovation hub where visitors can experience SlotBets and other products like BETBY Games and BETBY Predictions.

"We believe SlotBets Games has the potential to develop into a recognised category in its own right, much as other distinctive mechanics have evolved into established iGaming categories over time," Nekrasov said.

"SBC Summit gives us the perfect opportunity to show operators what that experience looks like in practice."

The product aims to address the limited cross-sell between sportsbook and casino audiences, offering casino players a familiar way to engage with live sports.

Meanwhile, casino game developer DSTPLAY will also exhibit at the Lisbon event, presenting its portfolio of Baccarat, Poker, Slot, Blackjack and Multiplayer Fishing Games at Stand B436.

The company said it will use the summit to engage with operators and explore potential collaborations.

Betable, another exhibitor, will showcase its single-stack iGaming platform and AI data layer called Copilot ATOM.

The tool allows operators to ask questions in plain language and receive answers based on live data, according to Daniel Shannon, VP of Marketing at Betable.

"Operators don't want another dashboard; they want an answer," Shannon said.

"Copilot is built to close that gap: ask a question, get the answer, and see the next action, rather than spending an afternoon working out what the numbers mean."

SBC Summit Lisbon brings together operators, suppliers and technology providers from across the international iGaming ecosystem.
