MISSISSAUGA · The Raptors 905 open their NBA G League season on Friday on the road against the College Park Skyhawks. The Toronto Raptors' affiliate announced its opening night roster and coaching staff ahead of the game. First-year head coach Noah Lewis will lead a team headlined by two-way players Nate Bittle, Malachi Smith and the recently signed Kevin McCullar Jr. The 905 are coming off a 2025-26 season where they posted a 37-13 record and made their first playoff appearance since 2021. The roster also includes new affiliate players Andre Jackson Jr. and Trey Jemison III, who previously spent time with the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks respectively. Former Raptors two-way players Chucky Hepburn and Nimari Burnett are also on the squad, with Burnett fresh off winning a national title with the Michigan Wolverines. Reigning G League defensive player of the year Jamarion Sharp joins the team after his rights were acquired in a trade with the Texas Legends last month.

Three players are returning from last season: Tyreke Key, Tyson Degenhart and AJ Hoggard. Canadian Olumide Adelodun from Calgary made the team through the open tryout process. The full roster includes Caleb Stone-Carrawell, with Jaiden Delaire, Jalen Celestine, Brandon Muntu, Day Day Thomas and Justin Wilson having been part of the training camp group. Noah Lewis, 32, takes over as head coach after Drew Jones. Lewis previously served as an assistant coach with the 905 during the 2022-23 season before rejoining the NBA Raptors in video coordination and player development. He first joined the organization in 2021 through the Wayne and Theresa Embry fellowship program after graduating from Mount Royal University in Alberta.

Lewis's coaching staff includes assistants Isaiah Fox, Eric Rwahwire, Moustapha Youssouf and Zach Marcus, who returns for his second season. Lacey Purdy has been promoted to head athletic therapist, while Jacob Gallant joins as assistant athletic therapist alongside strength coach Kris Robertson. The staff features several Canadian connections, as Youssouf previously served as an assistant coach with Toronto Metropolitan University's men's basketball program. Rwahwire formerly played for the University of Toronto and was drafted into the Canadian Elite Basketball League by the Brampton Honey Badgers in 2020.

The 905 are looking to build on a strong previous campaign that featured a historic 16-0 start and a perfect 14-0 record in the G League's Tip-Off Tournament before the Winter Show. The team opens its 16-game Tip-Off Tournament schedule on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, in College Park with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. Garbutt Disposal reported in October that the NBA Raptors set their 16-man roster for the season opener, featuring star forwards Scottie Barnes and Kawhi Leonard.
